Content Marketing Manager, Remote (United States)

We are seeking an experienced professional in content marketing and positioning to help us build and grow our brand(s) significantly, supporting lead generation and brand awareness as we embark on another year of exciting growth across North America and EMEA, with potential for further market expansion.

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

· Research: Help develop and participate in market research for the purposes of GTM strategies, thought leadership content production and opportunities, and competitive intelligence for the business

o Building the brand story, including turning complex concepts into short, compelling value proposition messages that grab our targets’ interests and differentiates us from competitors

o Help the team refine our brand voice and tell our story; translate “features” copy into benefits-based and conversational language

· Content Production: Creating content marketing programs and campaigns for database growth (gated content), SEO, demand generation, and rapidly growing our brand awareness and engagement in a competitive category

o Produce content to be leveraged across all media types including blogs, white papers, emails and subject lines, google search advertisements, website copy, landing pages, social media (paid and owned), webinar/podcast copy, video storyboards and more. Familiarity of tools such as Canva and InDesign to help create and manage multiple channels of production

o Produce content for retail buyers and influencers to be leveraged across industries for full funnel marketing

o Drive content calendar development and a strategic approach to content marketing to support goals including database (email) growth, prospect engagement, brand awareness, SEO/organic growth, and immediate actions (e.g. form fills)

o Develop podcast, webinar and other interactive content plans/campaigns to deliver thought leadership content to target audiences. Experience hosting podcasts and webinars and familiarity with these platforms a plus

o Guide and delegate to in-house and freelance designers to turn content into finished pieces such as infographics, video, and other animated ads and interactive assets

o Estimating resource needs and schedules and deliver periodic updates to team

Public Relations/thought leadership:

o Edit/proof thought pieces on behalf of senior leaders, and for specific media outlets

o Edit/proof byline articles; support us “getting into the conversation” on key topics as thought leaders

o Write press releases including announcement of new partners, integrations, executives, and more

Measurement/Analysis/Reporting: Contribute to dashboard and/or other reporting, highlighting successes and making recommended strategic/tactical adjustments based on alignment with database growth, organic and sales/revenue goals.

The perfect Content Marketing Manager for our team will ideally have experience, or expertise, with:

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably some experience with a SaaS product/solution
  • Being both an individual contributor and managing freelance/agency support
  • Delivering content performance results (dashboards) and analysis/recommendations
  • In-person and virtual event development
  • Familiarity with standard teamwork software (e.g Monday.com, Asana)
  • Writing on technical topics, made more accessible to audiences like small/mid sized business owners, as well as sales materials
  • Working with public relations vendors and internal stakeholders for PR activities
  • Experience turning thought pieces into multiple content assets
