Maintenance Porter

Lion Real Estate Group is in need of a porter to join the team at our upcoming acquisition of a 375-unit multifamily property located in the Glendale area of Salt Lake City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing and leasing of the communities while consistently providing residents and prospects with the highest quality of service and support.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Follows all company maintenance policies and procedures
2. Walks property on a regular basis to ensure the property’s appearance meets or exceeds company standards at all times
3. Maintains grounds cleanliness
4. Performs regular custodial duties around the property and maintains the common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash
5. Completes grounds work as directed by Property Manager, which may include picking up trash, clearing the parking area and sidewalks, etc
6. Cleans dumpster areas, trash rooms, and trash chute
7. Cleans and maintains swimming pools
8. Thoroughly cleans breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors and wiping down doors
9. Treats all tenants with the highest level of concern and care
10. Maintains regular, consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled to a satisfactory level
11. Works together with Property Manager and other maintenance staff to prepare for all City and Internal property inspections.
12. Helps maintain on-site shops, including equipment inventory.
13. Informs property managers of any issues observed on the property.
14. Ensures OSHA safety requirements are being followed
15. Performs other duties as assigned by Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

• Be able to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.

• Strong time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• High school or equivalent
• 1 year of work experience in residential property maintenance or 2 years of other relevant work experience
