LION has an exciting opportunity for an Order Filler to join our LVI team in Williamsburg, VA.
The order filler assists and reports to the Satellite Supervisor. The Order Filler is responsible for the, sorting, counting, and issuing of Individual Combat Equipment (ICE) and Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) to all customers. Also performs returns and exchanges. The Order Filler I will be responsible for stocking front-line locations and processing sort locations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supporting customers with their inquiries on uniform orders and performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
- Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Sorting, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- Operates hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Perform warehouse functions to include Order Filling, Cycle Counts, and Quality Control with speed and accuracy.
- Interact with customers to fit military uniforms for correct size and resolve any customer questions/concerns.
- Demonstrate high level of productivity to meet required deadlines.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to travel NOB (Norfolk Naval Base) on Mondays and Fridays for uniform issue.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (maybe asked to perform when required)
- Each order puller is responsible for keeping certain bin locations straightened up and clean (Bin areas are labeled).
- Other duties as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication skills.
- Basic reading and writing skills, and good basic knowledge of computer skills with CRT/ PC.

PHYSICAL and MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching and squatting as needed.

- Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Displays ambitious, positive attitude.
- Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment and interface with external customers.
