    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
  • Create training documentation and programs to develop team members within the department.
  • Develop process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures for process.
  • Designs, oversees, assesses, implements, and improves, processes to increase safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency in the manufacturing process
  • Responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. 
  • Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing
  • Excellent print reading skills.
  • Needs to be able to read and follow written instructions or procedures.
  • General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word) as well as be able to create new, maintain, and update files from that software.
  • Support the design and planning of equipment layout
  • Meeting with production managers to assess existing processes.
  • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
  •     Working Conditions:

    • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
    • May sit for several hours at a time.
    • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
    • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

    Qualifications:

    Education & experience required for the role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing, engineering and/or design experience
  • Auto CAD experience
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment; results-oriented while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms with all levels within company.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, independently within authority limits.
  • Ability to establish priorities and set daily objectives to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive situations when needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics, and/or computer-generated reports.
  • High-level analytical skills
  • Ability to project manage.
  •
