  • Summary/Objective:

    We are looking for a Wellbeing Director to help implement and expand Lippert’s overall Wellbeing Program, a key component of our strategic vision. The Director will be responsible for execution and delivery of integrated and comprehensive programs to improve the health and well-being of team members.  This includes relationship management, program oversight and operations, team member engagement, and reporting.  This role works closely with the Company’s Benefits department to develop and facilitate communication and engagement strategies to increase awareness and participation in the Company’s benefit and wellbeing initiatives, continuously fostering a culture of health, and ensuring program success and growth. 

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative programs to improve team member wellbeing and engagement, assist with development of related policies and procedures.
  • Keep current with wellness trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate wellness meetings and regular communication.
  • Coordinate wellness initiatives/projects as they are developed in conjunction with the Well-Being Committee.
  • Develop and manage annual calendar of events, training, education and related comprehensive communications plan; collaborate with other leaders to cascade throughout the organization. 
  • Work closely with Lippert’s Benefits Team to develop, maintain and manage effective relationships with external vendors and benefit providers.
  • Regularly provide metrics regarding participation and impact to present to leadership. 
  • Assist in the development of budget, policies, and procedures relevant to the operation of the Wellbeing program.
  • Recommend program improvements as appropriate to maximize impact on team members, and overall team member experience.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferably in areas of fitness and health promotion, exercise science and wellness or related course of study. 
  • Knowledge of wellness program models, trends and best practices with emphasis on implementation of program design, educational offerings, and prevention strategies.
  • Expertise in health promotion and preventative health.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships in the development, implementation and administration of service and program delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  
  • Must be highly self-motivated, detail oriented and able to identify and prioritize tasks consistent with business demands.
  • Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills and ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with customer-centric mindset.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide variety of people and vendors.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate, as well as work independently.
  • Supervisory Responsibility:

    This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

     

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk and hear and may occasionally be required to lift and/or move items less than 20 pounds.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time salaried position.

     

    Travel:

    Regular travel between Northern Indiana plants is required; occasional travel to out of state locations may also occur.

     

    Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
