What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Liquid Brand?
The position
Looking for an active, exciting career in liquid plant operations processing? Do you want to be a part of an organization that impacts the environment in a positive way? If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Massachusetts Licensed Grade 3 Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works.
Schedule may vary, typically 10 to 12 hour shifts Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Pay: $17 - 22/hr (depending on experience)
Scope of accountability
- Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed

- Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material

- Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations

- Performs cleanup of area as required
*
- Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing
*
- Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations

- Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times
*
- Always works in a safe and compliant manner

- Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments
