POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role will perform a variety of accounting duties including Accounts Payable, cash disbursements, bank activity tracking, vendor credit applications, credit card transaction reconciliation, journal entries and inventory reporting. The successful individual must be very accurate, detail oriented, hardworking and have excellent computer skills. We are looking for a driven Accountant that is passionate about this profession and wants to contribute to one of the world’s global leaders in liquid cooling for data centers, edge, and high-performance computing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs accounts payable administration for our production facility.
- Posts transactions and track Account Payables in Odoo ERP system.
- Interfaces with internal purchasing department and vendors to resolve AP issues.
- Interacts with global office and posts transactions in foreign currency.
- First point of contact for vendor accounts payable issues.
- Posting and reconciliation of credit card transactions
- Tracks and properly accounts for fixed assets.
- Assists with physical inventory issues.
- Tracks bank transactions and posts necessary journal entries.
- Ensures compliance with relevant finance policies and procedures.
- Acts in a manner consistent with LiquidStack’s core values and according to LiquidStack’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behavior.
- Complies with standards and procedures of LiquidStack’s health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting and/or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with multi-currency, multi subsidiary environments.
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing process.
- Prior experience working with accounting software in an ERP environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize competing tasks and keep to critical deadlines.
- Self-starter that can be hands-on and able to work independently.
- Multicultural approach, comfortable working with diverse cultures and mind-sets.
- Appreciation for working in a global organization with teammates in different time zones/regions.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written).
