POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience
- Hold a valid professional teaching certificate or master’s degree.
- Be proficient in the Science of Reading as required by the Arkansas Department of Education
- Use various data collection (video, note taking, google excel sheets, etc) methods to identify current reality for teachers
- If applicable, observe and assist with RISE coaching.
- Assist teachers with all state/district required screenings and/or assessments given to students
- Assist teachers with recording data results for students based on screening and assessments
- Assist K-2 teachers in setting goals to improve student outcomes
- Provide lesson planning and support to teachers.
- Model effective classroom management and instructional strategies for teachers and interventionists
- Follow up with teachers after modeling for them to ensure transfer of learning
- Document evidence of classroom visits and teacher assistance to teachers in need by submitting a brief report to principal bi-weekly
- Support teachers in participating in professional development to master their teaching practices
- Work with campus and district leaders to design/deliver PD for teachers
- Join campus/district leaders with walkthroughs/classroom visits on campus
- Work with campus leaders and PLC guiding coalition to set up and implement campus literacy PLCs
- Provide curriculum writing/revision support to the District Office Academics Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
