What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Coordinator position at LISCR, LLC?
LISCR, LLC, a Dulles, Virginia-based maritime international shipping company, is looking to complement its Corporate Department by hiring a Corporate Coordinator.
This position is responsible for preparing general basic corporate registry functions which include the issuing of legal certificates and the acceptance of legal documents for filing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Variety of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
- Answers client/field office emails, faxes and telephone enquiries and requests;
- Provides registry services and documentation processing: Company formation, Registration of Foreign Maritime Entities, issuing of certificates, filing documents in the public register, recording documents with the LISCR Trust Company, processing withdrawals, and dissolutions, etc.;
- Coordinates Corporate kit and share certificate requests;
- Generates and analyzes various corporate reports daily, as needed;
- Arranges shipment of office supplies to Regional offices;
- Processes inter-office pouches, and incoming/returned mail;
- Issues invoices and statement of accounts;
- Assists with updating reports for automated processes;
- Respond to client account enquiries;
- Reviews and proofs corporate documents for accuracy;
- Processes address change requests;
- Assists with maintaining and updating the Shelf Corporation list as needed;
- Responds to internal requests from the LISCR Trust Company and other Regional offices;
- Assists regional offices with enquiries and problems;
- Serves as a backup to the Senior Corporate Coordinators;
- Miscellaneous clerical duties such as scanning/uploading documents, and sorting and analyzing monthly mail/reports, issuing invoices, and statement of accounts, and maintaining the monthly mailing report;
- Miscellaneous duties as requested by management level staff.
General Qualification Guidelines:
- High school graduate or GED required; post high school education preferred in a legal or paralegal discipline; Bachelor's degree a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in an administrative role.
- Additional clerical and data entry experience preferred.
- Additional legal experience a plus.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to lift approximately 15 – 20 lbs.
