Billing System Specialist
Summary :
The Billing Systems Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the company's billing systems.
This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of the billing process, resolves system issues, and provides support to users .
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and administer the billing system, including user setup, configuration, troubleshooting, updates, upgrades, and documentation.
- Implement controls and audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the billing system.
- Analyze current billing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to users on the billing system.
- Troubleshoot user issues, resolve problems, and create / maintain user guides and training materials.
- Support generation of reports on billing data to track key metrics and identify trends.
- Analyze billing data to identify areas for improvement, while using billing systems..
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
- Set up codes, add new house accounts
- Vetro to sonar integration
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in IT, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in billing or a related field.
- Experience with billing systems and software.
- Strong understanding of billing processes and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
