What are the responsibilities and job description for the Factory Manager position at Litchfield Custom Cabinetry?
As the Factory Manager at Litchfield Custom Cabinetry, you will manage and assist the company in the manufacturing scheduling/operations to optimize profits.
Although 50% of the Factory Manager’s time will be split on overseeing the factory floor workflow, quality control, and recruiting new talent, you will be expected to leverage your acquired knowledge in each phase of fabrication to help manage incoming new business, manufacturing schedules, and customer satisfaction.
You must have great people skills to communicate with everyone from the company's owners to hourly employees and manage the department.
You will be a member of our management team helping to develop plans for the future. You must be able to identify areas of concern and establish processes and procedures to aid our growth and the business's long-term health.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Oversee and direct all Factory personnel
Produce high-quality jobs on time
Train plant personnel on machinery, cabinet-making skills, finishing details, and how to be more efficient
Responsible for the plant’s staffing, operational efficiency, maintenance, cleanliness, and cost control measures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
