- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure proper timing and temperature
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment

- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is encouraged
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent knife skills for cutting ingredients and preparing dough
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
