What are the responsibilities and job description for the NJ P3 Certified Teachers position at Little Genius Planet?
We are looking for NJ P-3 Certified Preschool/PreK teachers for our Franklin Park Location. Ideal candidates should be passionate working with young children, energetic, professional and willing to provide required education to the children. Qualified teachers should be able to deliver the High Scope curriculum to our preschool classes, follow center and school district’s instructions.
If you already have NJ P3 certification you may apply. Also if you are in the process of obtaining P3 certification you may apply as long as you have obtained your certificate of eligibility for Teaching ( CE )
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree ( child care related degree is a plus)
- Experience working in classroom settings
- Able to deliver the High Scope curriculum
- Classroom Management
- Organizational Skills and time management
- Be enthusiastic and adaptable
- Team player and flexibility
- Able to go through state required clearance
- CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities
- Follow the curriculum and implement lesson plans
- Keep track of child’s progress
- Conduct back to school night and parent teacher conferences
- Follow licensing requirements and keep safe & nurturing environment
- Develop positive relationships with parents, staff and management
- Keep up with training requirements as needed
- Maintain needed documentations
- Keep the classroom clean and organized
- Follow any other direction management asked to do
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
