What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery-Deli Clerk position at Little Giant Farmers Market?
The Bakery-Deli Clerk is responsible for prepping and preparing a variety of bakery items. These items will then be packaged and displayed for sale. The Bakery Clerk will also be responsible for the following:
- Keeping the work area clean, neat, and organized
- Following all safe food practices and procedures
- Maintaining a low level of inventory
- Stocking the cases with product
- Helping customers with special requests or questions
- Baking various breads, cupcakes, and other items
- Helping out in the Deli Department
Little Giant Farmer’s Market was founded in Riverdale, GA, in 1984 with a focus on fresh produce. The store expanded into a full-service supermarket and has been growing ever since. Little Giant is in the process of being updated with a rebrand, store remodels, new products, and a new pricing structure—to name a few. There are several opportunities for advancement within the company as we grow and expand Little Giant and a new banner: FreshTake. We are looking for experienced grocery professionals with a positive attitude and a willingness to keep changing the store to stay ahead of industry trends.
