LIV Development is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. In this role you will develop and implement proactive recruitment strategies to fill critical roles while also identifying opportunities to fully leverage the skills and talents of our existing team.

You will elevate how we attract, engage, acquire, and retain world class talent. You’ll focus on engaging the most qualified candidates by building relationships with passive and active job seekers while understanding the dynamic hiring needs of each area of our business. You will ensure a premium hiring and onboarding experience for candidates and hiring managers.

LIV actively recruits for team members at all levels, from interns to experienced executives across a broad range of positions, including accounting and finance, construction management, real estate development, marketing, and design. You’ll need a lot of energy and a passion for variety to be successful in this role.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the first line of contact between candidates and LIV Development. As such, you must be our greatest ambassador—well versed in our business, values, organizational priorities, and culture. With a thorough understanding of the LIV culture and you will serve as a strategic partner for senior leaders. You'll understand and advise on current and future hiring demand. Additionally, you’ll drive accountability and adopt new processes, tools, and technology to ensure that the recruitment process is seamless from beginning to end. Using data and insights to understand trends and the competitive talent market, you'll ensure we have the right strategies in place at the right time to recruit and retain the best talent. You’ll regularly measure and report on your success.

You’ll always be looking for new, “people first” ways to improve our talent acquisition and management efforts and will recommend strategies regularly. Your expertise will play a significant role in shaping the future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the executive team to understand short and long-term hiring needs and to create actionable recruitment plans to meet these needs.
  • Identify the best of the best — people who live our values and model our brand — to fill open positions. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, third party search firms, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market.
  • Maintain, strengthen and build relationships with recruiting organizations and relevant partners.
  • Constantly seek new sourcing solutions and devise creative approaches to developing pipelines and delivering candidates.
  • Fill open positions quickly, track candidate activity thoroughly, and move through the process with utmost accuracy.
  • Strategize with hiring managers to establish quarterly recruiting objectives and develop corresponding recruiting strategy.
  • Advise hiring managers on key decisions throughout the hiring process, including resume review, interview process, and overall process improvement.
  • Anticipate and prepare for future hiring needs.
  • Introduce new hires to LIV Development through a smooth and meaningful onboarding process.
  • Take pride in your work, knowing you’ve driven great hiring decisions and positively impacted LIV and the new team members you recommended.


Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 5 years of recruiting and sourcing experience, preferably in an entrepreneurial, high growth, fast paced environment
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Excellent communication and listening skills; able to demonstrate a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy while dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Trustworthiness to handle sensitive and confidential company information
  • High comfort level with ambiguity and entrepreneurship; open to change, learning, and improvement
  • A superior sense of urgency with the demonstrated ability to act quickly under pressure and to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
  • Ability to turn data into consistent, simple, meaningful, and actionable reports
