Restaurant Attendant - Orchid Kitchen - Maryland

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Responsible to stock wait stations, bar and host stand 10%.
• Responsible for bringing ice as needed 10%.
• Responsible to clear tables of dirty dishes, linen, silverware and transport to kitchen via bus cart 60%.
• May assist host and hostesses to seat patrons 5%.
• Responsible for resetting tables after they have been cleared 10%.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and equipment.
• Ability to read simple instructions.
• Knowledge of Mixology. Knowledgeable of ABC laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Property Equipment).
• Excellent communication skills needed.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Must be able to work various hours, as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Must present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to maneuver around the Food Outlets and the facility as needed.

Must-Haves:

• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in food service.
• License: Non-Gaming. Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming licenses as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position and an Alcohol Beverage Control card.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to handle multi-tasking heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of stairs and elevators
