THE JOB

Live Oak Bank Pavilion Amphitheatre in Wilmington NC is seeking VIP Host staff which will engage with and aid all Live Nation clients that purchase VIP club access, season tickets, box seats, or premium seating for our events. This position requires a passionate and motivated individual to provide exceptional customer service to our VIP guests by driving a premium hospitality experience for live events. VIP Host staff members will be stationed throughout all VIP areas and will be required to validate event tickets for entry, assist with questions, issues, or complaints. In addition, the VIP Host will esthetically maintain the VIP areas and assist in set up and tear down operations of the VIP areas for each event.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

• Assist in all aspects of the VIP/Premium Seat Services experience - including the club, pavilion/box seats, parking lot and entrance.
• Make sure VIP Club and VIP Boxes are show ready.
• Welcome guests as they enter the VIP entrance.
• Scan tickets, issue wristbands/credentials.
• Answer questions, show guests to their seats and assist with any other needs that may arise throughout the evening.
• Continually monitor and enforce entry to the VIP Box seating areas and Club to ensure that only authorized VIP/Premium ticket holders are permitted entry into perspective VIP areas.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to exceed expectations and maintain customer loyalty.
• Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
• Help the PSS team and wait-staff keeping the VIP Club organized, clean and running smoothly throughout the show.
• Serve as a resource of information for all guests regarding their experience; be knowledgeable of venue policies, event details.
• Aid all crew members as necessary and communicating effectively with others to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue; this may include collecting and properly storing event equipment such as tables and chairs, barricade, recycling, etc.
• Set up and break-down VIP areas within the VIP designated areas.
• Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
• Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
• Other tasks as assigned by the VIP Club Supervisor, PSS Coordinator or Management.
• Follow instruction and guidelines provided by Live Nation.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years in Guest Service and communications
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Enjoys interacting with the public
• Upbeat, positive, and friendly personality
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Ability to continually stand, occasionally lift up to 35lbs., sit, walk and climb stairs
• Must be willing and able to work in various weather conditions
