Live Oak Little School is growing! We are searching for a qualified director.
We are a small arts and academic preschool who welcomes children ages six weeks to six years of age.
Duties
All Directors are responsible for the coordinating and manage all staff members, general business administration , and the daily running for a small private school.
The Director must follow and train staff to follow all regulations set by the state and federal government as well as the school policies and procedures.
Ensuring that the syllabus and curriculum for the children is being followed creatively with the best resources and materials is a fun part of the job.
Communication with staff and parents is very important the directorship.
Recruiting new staff and promoting the school is an enjoyable part of the job.
Hosting special events and event planning is also a big part of the enjoyable responsibilities for our school.
Requirements
A Director for a South Carolina Licensed Private School are:
Must have a minimum of three years experience working in licensed child care, OR hold a degree in early childhood education,
Must have a clear background check and be in good health.
Must be able to communicate clearly with parents and staff in person and using a daily communication app.
Must present leadership skills showing the ability to work well with everyone and support our staff by being in the classrooms to ensure that everything is safe.
