Position Summary The Warehouse Lead will act as a subject matter, problem solving expert, while serving as a coach, trainer, and mentor for Warehouse team members. The Lead is expected to model appropriate behavior/skills during all interactions and is a vital communication link between the department Managers and our Warehouse team members and will help to ensure that warehouse operations are performed effectively and safely.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist and support the Supervisor and Managers to help organize, motivate and train team members
Perform tasks to set the pace for daily productivity
Monitor and lead the team to ensure that all key performance indicators (KPI's) are achieved
Act as subject matter expert with the team to ensure department efficiencies and goals are met
Review the daily workflow and prioritize work among the team members
Assist and check in with the team to ensure they meet their goals
Provide feedback to the Supervisor or Manager as necessary for productivity, attendance and workplace conduct
Conduct and track production analysis to review trends and make improvement recommendations
Audit adherence to standard operating procedures
Participate in interviewing new team members
Assist with onboarding and training tasks of new hires
Able to operate on tight deadlines with multiple priorities subject to frequent changes.
Must be flexible to work holidays. Evenings, and weekends
Help to ensure all safety procedures are followed within the department
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. 2 plus years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Office 365 and Word. Must have working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS). Knowledge of AX system is a plus.
Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
-Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive a team bonus based on meeting specific monthly goals and KPI's. Bonus amounts are based on the level of achievement and the total hours worked during the bonus eligible month.
