We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time mid-level Civil Engineering position in one of our North Carolina offices. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.
MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans, and minor roadway projects.
- Work closely with project manager to complete variety of site-civil design tasks.
- Coordination with survey crews.
- Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource, and site/civil engineers.
- Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.
- Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.
- Ability to develop junior staff.
- Coordinate with subconsultants.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
- 5-7 years of related experience
- EIT required; PE license preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
