Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our growing and expanding solution-based construction management firm with the following superpower traits!

Our Assistant Project Managers always strive for purposeful excellence and are responsible for building our brand through quality customer interactions, ensuring a safe job site, developing relationships with contractors and client representatives, and taking ownership to be an adaptive explorer willing to venture into uncharted territory if necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of success in construction site management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, Construction Management, or similar
  • 3 years' experience in project engineering, field supervision, purchasing
  • APM Certification is highly encouraged
  • Ability to consistently analyze and execute financial trade-offs which frequently involve dealing with incomplete data and ambiguity
  • Excellent business judgment as demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives and a strong reputation with clients and subcontractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently and decisively act, including making the decision to involve the CEO when necessary
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced by a strong command of all applicable contract and legal provisions
