Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, occasional overtime on Fridays

Responsible for re-manufacturing and daily inventory control of headlight cores. This individual may assist in more than one phase of production.

Essential Job Duties:

• Define the steps necessary to prepare for and repair a light’s housing using prefabricated molds.
• Staging lights – inspect lights for reparability.
• Prep lights for setting station.
• Set lights by attaching molds to repairable parts.
• May assist in the bracket setting station.
• May assist in injection station.
• May assist in the teardown station.
• May assist in the finish station.
• May assist in the final inspection station.
• Responsible for productivity and quality control for assigned production process.
• Maintains orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
• Complies with established company policies and procedures.
• Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries’ quality improvement system.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must have good attention to detail, ability to cooperate with others, must be able to communicate problems with the Lead and other Management.
• Ability to stay on task and flexibility to learn the different functions of your specific department.

Machines, Equipment and Software:

• Knippers, knife, palm sander, various sized dremels, hand grinders, torch, buffing wheel, spray glue, silicone, plastic injection, paint, cold and hot climate.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• This position requires individuals to sit or stand for a 10 hour period, repetitive motions with the arms, hands and wrists.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.
