Plan, direct implement warehouse operations, maintenance, and office support to meet prescribed Direct all facility leadership by setting direction and ensuring it is carried out, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; identifying training and development needs and ensuring opportunities for learning and growth are available; supporting company policies and procedures; overseeing the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of employees. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts and coordinate daily planning meeting and daily staff meeting. Confer with Plant Engineer to obtain daily room temperature reports and requirements. Oversee pest control and SAI programs and compliance operations. Accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives regarding cost productivity, customer service, profits, and employees. Reviews bills of lading for incoming products for customer orders to plan work activities. Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming products and assembling customer orders for delivery. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of warehouse with activities of sales, record control and purchasing departments to ensure availability of products. Remains knowledgeable in WMS regarding abilities and changes to suit customer needs. Participates in company marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting for new accounts, making sales calls, generating positive word of mouth, developing, and quoting rates, negotiating contracts, and closing sales. Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters. Maintain customer contact. Directs reclamation of damaged products. Operates facility in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes. Ensures the proper receipt, storage, handling and/or distribution of safe quality food products at this facility. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 4 years of Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field Demonstrated proficiency in development and execution of strategy / annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOPs, workshops, etc.) bottom-line cost/efficiency management Experience with continuous improvement quality processes such as Six Sigma and/or LEAN Experience managing, training, and developing people in operation roles Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver technical results to a non-technical audience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud #LLGM Why Lineage?
