Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for contributing to the safety, training, administration, sales, and profitability of the back of house
- Partner with the management team to execute action plans and manage back of house employee staffing levels, scheduling, performance management and contributing to performance evaluations
- Ensure kitchen team is result and solution driven, works together, and demonstrates Carolina Hospitality
- Manage cost of sales and controllable expenses primarily through effective shift controls.
- Knowledge of Food and Health safety procedures
- Supervise all prep and cooking , ensuring every recipe is being followed
- Check quality and accuracy of plated food, while maintaining company ticket times
- Ensure employees are following all food and safety gridlines set by Local health department and company
- Ensuring all employees, managers are trained on new food items
- Schedule staff based on needs of restaurant sales, production
- Be a good steward; act with ownership mentality
- Be able to receive and give feedback
