Responsibilities
- Educates and trains new team members on completing accurate registrations.
- Educates on reading & interpreting insurance responses.
- Educates on Front Desk Scheduling
- Educates on Work Queue processing.
- POS notes/collections, policies, procedures, etc. as it relates to Patient Access.
- Responsible for training team members on Epic and other systems as needed.
- Works with Manager of Registration on areas or team members that may need coaching
- Provides support at the elbow support for end users
- Provide back up to Hospital Registration staffing as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent required.
- One to three years prior registration experience required.
- Sedentary work performed in office setting. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively and give oral presentations.
