Position Summary:
A Production Manager is responsible for optimizing daily pipeline and employee performance. Provides oversight on pipeline to ensure quality, production, and excellent customer service levels. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, following all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for mentoring and developing a staff of Licensed Lending Officers to ensure all company metrics are being met; monitors and manages professional behavior and performance
- Responsible for hiring and termination decisions, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Ability to diffuse customer escalations and always provides quality service to our borrowers.
- Strong understanding of mortgage rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Relationship builder with all Operations staff including Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Title and Call Center.
- Responsible for the compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures of all sales employees under his or her supervision,
- Ensures the management of the professionalism and quality of customer service and teamwork demonstrated by assigned employees.
- Participates in assigned production meetings & provides team production reports regularly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Consumer Direct sales management experience.
- MUST have a team or following of 5 licensed lending officers.
- ACTIVE NMLS loan originator license required, holding 10 state licenses.
- Knowledge of and adherence to, state and federal regulations and laws.
- Proven ability to hire and train a strong sales teams in a licensed, regulated environment.
- Ability to drive results and achieve metrics based goals.
- Attention to detail; strong ability to prioritize with a keen sense of urgency.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills in accordance to loanDepot’s Company Culture
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not mandatory with proven mortgage experience.
