What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at LOCALMD?

Responsibilities

  • Rooming and verifying patient information
  • Clean, restock, and prepare exam room for next patients
  • Perform EKGs as needed
  • Taking vitals - obtain height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse ox
  • Patient documentation in EPIC EMR system
  • Answering phone calls/ scheduling appointments
  • Assist with insurance verification
  • Perform venipunctures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.75 - $22.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Medical Specialty:

  • Internal Medicine
  • Primary Care

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Salary : $19 - $23
