What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at locals pub?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations of the restaurant and bar, including front of house and back of house
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Manage and train staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
-Manage and implement budgets and forecasts aligning with owner's vision and standards
- Collaborate with owner to develop promotional strategies and attract new customers.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of serving, bartending, catering, and private events
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using pos and inventory/budget software.
Bonus:
- Base pay starts at $70,000. Owner is willing to begin with a 10% bonus on profits, with an increase on bonus percentage when owner is able to completely step away from any day-to-day operations.
- We are looking for someone willing to put in the work as if this is their own business. The owners have other businesses and responsibilities and looking to be able to completely step away from the day-to-day operations.

- This is a two concept operation with a current revenue target of $2.5 million for 2024 with a large growth potential and rent under $10k total/month. This is an opportunity for a 20% EBITDA based on our concept and overhead.
