What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate/Customer Service position at Locey Swim & Spa?
Waiting on customers, stocking shelves, loading customers cars, cleaning, ordering products, etc. You will wear many hats here.
Some pool experience desired. That experience can be from having a pool growing up to working at a pool store or pool and spa supplier.
We are a Seasonal business, with spring/summer/early fall being our busiest. We are open six days a week.
Responsibilities
- Answer multiple phone lines
- Assist customers on the sales floor: we sell above ground pools, hot tubs, chemicals, equipment, accessories, toys and much more
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Update customer database
- Load customers cars with their goods they purchased
- Stock product shelves
Skills
- Handle customers in a professional, friendly manner
- Be able to sell products (we will educate you)
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Light computer/database entry and sign making
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Able to ship products from packaging up products to creating shipping label
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
