Lockheed Martin is leading the way to build modern, innovative, Agile solutions to a pathway for the next generation of the Mission Planning Ground System. You will work with a team of software, infrastructure, DevSecOps, systems, and test engineers, as well as teams focused on operations, deployment, and user engagement.
The successful candidate should have a strong foundational knowledge and hands on experience with Ground Systems architectures. In this role you will:
• Develop the AEHF Ground System Strategic Vision for current and future work.
• Provide subject matter expertise to solve complex challenges including: architecture of new feature implementations, maximizing the usage of the CI/CD pipelines allowing easier deployments to Production environments, implementation of architectural runway features to align with customer mission requirements and future vision.
• Support onboarding of new efforts and architectures, reviewing design and approach.
• Provides oversight and design reviews of ongoing engineering work products.
• Experience in leading the program and customer to architectural solutions that align with customer vision and business objectives.
• Provide technical oversight of implementation to assure alignment with customer enterprise, architecture and technology standards.
• Work with customer and stakeholders teams to analyze their needs and requirements to make recommendations and designing robust solutions that meet customer vision and integrate into their enterprise roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Systems Architect on a ground systems software architecture
- Experience in working across program and/or organizational teams
- Experience defining and developing new work requests and proposals
- Active Secret or higher security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with the Software Factory
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills and excellent planning and organizational skills
- Experience leading development and customer teams through milestone reviews and TEMs
- Experience in driving enterprise behaviors and innovation/process improvements
- Strong Interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority; demonstrable written communication and oral presentation skills
- Experience leading Agile Software Development Programs
- Demonstrated ability to build Customer confidence and intimacy across multiple Mission Partners, LM Business units and Program Areas
