As a Contracts Manager for the Ignite organization, you will be responsible for developing early to mid-career contract professionals, driving efficiencies, and contractual protections.
The Contracts Manager will collaborate extensively with executive leadership, cross-functional, and external partners.
This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
Responsible for supervisory responsibilities and coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with FAR & DFAR, development of commercial sales contracts, licensing agreements, policies and procedures related to stakeholder reviews, negotiating with government and commercial customer, delegations of authority, and procurement law. Ability to analyze staffing pipeline to identify and anticipate operational needs.
Desired Skills:
JD, building and developing teams, exemplary client service skills with the ability to interact with various departments, all levels of LM executive personnel, and ability to motivate and deliver a high performing team.
Salary : $106,400 - $203,900
