Description:
The Culture Transformation Lead reporting to the Sr. Manager, Organizational Development and Change, is an experienced culture transformation and change management specialist who will lead, partner, and serve as a catalyst for change in the organization. In co-leading major culture transformation initiatives, this leader must be adept at culture assessment practices, stakeholder engagement and communication, and culture intervention strategies.
This role requires consulting experience, with proven experience in advising, facilitating, and influencing employees and leaders of all levels through the culture transformation process, including conducting change needs analyses, designing and planning transformation programs, mobilizing change champions and sponsors, embedding culture change behaviors and habits, and sustaining culture change through employee alignment and empowerment practices. The leader in this role will also work across the organization to align training, change management, communications, and performance management teams to support the development of a high-performance culture.
This position will function as an integrated part of an Enterprise Operations (EO) Talent and Organizational Capability team and will:
Lead Strategy:
• Lead the efforts in our next phase of cultural evolution and ensure that changes in technology, process, and behaviors align to intended business and employee engagement outcome
• Leading all facets of change management and communications to drive a culture shift
• Bring best practices and create the EO strategy for culture change in partnership with the Corporate T&OC Culture and Performance team.
• Align Culture strategy to the strategy of Lockheed Martin
Lead Solutions:
• Conducting organizational assessments to uncover the values, embedded assumptions, and behaviors that manifest in the current culture, and lead the shaping of future state culture change
• Providing training, coaching, and leadership development to drive employee engagement, problem-solving, transparency, autonomy, and growth mindset across the workforce
• Deliver tangible solutions, track their usage, and then be open to consistent feedback and improvements
Lead Teams:
• Lead a team of change management and culture transformation practitioners through often ambiguous and fluid tasks to drive change adoption
• Motivate the team to achieve organizational goals, and help individual team members to develop and implement timelines to achieve their goals
• Delegate tasks to team members and follow through to ensure timelines and service delivery standards are met
• Empowering and coaching team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
• Conducting annual performance reviews of staff, as well as monthly check-ins to discuss employee performance and progress toward meeting their goals
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in related HR, change management, or culture transformation roles, including experience leading a major project. Additionally, the Lead will:
• Successfully prepared, developed and presented executive-level briefings
• Demonstrated successful project leadership experience across the full lifecycle (design, implementation & sustainment)
• Proven ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including Human Resources, Executives, Leadership, and Employees
• Proven culture and change management thought leadership
Desired Skills:
• MA/MS – Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated recent experience as a leader for a distributed team
• Prosci or other change management certification
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and ambiguous organizations
• Experience designing, developing, and analyzing success metrics
• Experience internal and/or external consulting
• Ability to think strategically with experience in creating and implementing detailed tactical, results-driven plans
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to execute with and through others while managing multiple projects and changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain strong business relationships, and build networks with HR clients, business clients, and others throughout the company
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Highly analytical with the ability to gather and interpret data
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity while attending to multiple stakeholders, a variety of concurrent projects, and firm deadlines
• Experience working in a regulated company/industry
