What are the responsibilities and job description for the F-35 Maintenance Controller position at Lockheed Martin?
Description:Uses Fifth Generation aircraft management tools “Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)” to create and track work-orders. Track’s aircraft, aircraft history, maintenance, engine data, Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTDs), and time change and project future maintenance events that will impact aircraft operations. Perform debriefing, scheduling, inspection tracking, coordination of outside support, and other various functions in accordance with appropriate OO-ALC and Sustainment Operating Instruction (SOIs). Gather, summarize, and interpret reports for information regarding company or competitive schedule activity. Assist with preparation and publication of approved general schedules, timetables, and other related material for tracking Lockheed Martin and OO-ALC Hole Primer efforts. Coordinate with Production Management on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur. Validates assigns aircraft tasks in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). Knowledge with Time Compliance Technical Data (Aircraft, Support Equipment and Alternate Mission Equipment) and coordinates with Quality Assurance and Aircraft Maintenance Managers. Assist production efforts with floor walks and SCRUM meetings as required by schedule. Works with maintenance supervision to ensure maintenance actions are completed on time. Ensures data entered into ALIS is complete, accurate and provide training when necessary. Performs related clerical functions associated with Maintenance Control such as updating status boards, obtaining and distribution forms, or other duties as directed by the supervisor. Requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from an ALIS and other related functions.
Potential travel to support other F-35 site requirements.
Must be able to work multiple shifts and support Field Team deployments as needed.
Availability to travel, support teams for sometimes extended periods as needed for Modification events
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
Basic Qualifications:
Experienced Professional with Aircraft Management tools for ordering, tracking, and Data Metric Knowledge.
Logistic Information System
Experience with MS Office Suites
Desired Skills:
Fifth Generation aircraft management tools, Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS).
Working knowledge of Data capture and tracking, Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms and Documentation, and Supply Chain Management and Process Specifications.
Experience with Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Excellent customer service abilities

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
