Description:Lockheed Martin Oldsmar is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of Non-Exempt (20 ) employees who support areas including Special Build Solder/Mechanical, Space Assembly, Component Prep, and Through-Hole manufacturing teams.
Position Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the team, managing personnel, staffing, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
The Candidate will also lead/facilitate an operations excellence team (OET).
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
-Minimum of 3 years direct experience in a manufacturing environment
-Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing/production methodologies
-Working Knowledge of such programs as HAZMAT, Safety, Training, FOD, ESD, Class 0, 6S, etc.
-Demonstrated understanding of business metrics to drive performance and DPTH (cost & quality)
Desired Skills:
-Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and cost reduction with and understanding of business metrics to drive performance
-Ability to obtain a secret clearance
-Preferred Greenbelt certified
-Excellent communication skills
-Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (VBA programming)
-Data Literacy and using data to drive decisions

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
