Product Manager

Description:Candidate will serve as the Platform and Infrastructure (P&I) Agile Release Train (ART) Product Manager on the Command and Control Battle Management Communications (C2BMC) program, to include being responsible for driving value delivery for the infrastructure of a complex missile defense command and control system. The candidate will also perform the following tasks:
- Lead the Agile Release Train (ART) to include responsibility for the cost, schedule and performance of the ART
- Coordinate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Resource Manager (RM) to determine ART processes and ensure adequate staffing required to meet work scope assigned to the ART
- Team management/leadership in an Agile environment is desired.
- Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders across multiple Product Teams within the ART
- Contribute to the overall C2BMC Program Roadmap to include continuous backlog refinement
- Assess progress and report status to program leadership and the customer
- Act as the technical interface with the Government
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Interface with the other ARTs within the program to meet objectives and milestones to include product releases developed within the ART
- Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer.
- The candidate is required to support the accomplishment of Earned Value Management, by working closely with the CAMs providing the supporting information to assess EV performance and prepare variances and ETCs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven leadership with full life cycle development on large, integrated DoD systems, including requirements development and interpretation, design, implementation and test, fielding and maintenance.
- Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience as either a Product Manager or a Product Owner.
- Experience and understanding of Earned Value Management in a software development environment
- Experience and understanding of program Risk Management processes
- Knowledge and skills related to Information Technology, Cyber, and Information Security.
- 7-10 years’ experience and understanding of Earned Value Management in a software development environment.
- 7-10 years’ experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of distributed, real-time software systems.
- Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex Development program.
- 5-7 years’ experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and automated test tools
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Coordination of program/project staffing activities
- Verbal and written communication skills for effective interface with management, vendors, and customers
- Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, communicate and lead diverse teams to solve complex issues and problems
- 7-10 years of Agile leadership
- Command and control system application development.
- 7-10 years’ experience with Information Technology, Apps, Cyber, and Information Security
- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Ability to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
