Description:The Eglin F-35 Scheduling/Registrar Manager leads a team of schedulers and registrars responsible for all scheduling and student tracking needs for F-35 pilot and maintenance training at Eglin AFB. This includes F-35 academics, training device, simulator and flying mission training for U.S. services as well as Partner and Foreign Military Sales countries and includes scheduler work locations in the ATC, fighter squadrons and Wing Scheduling Office. The Scheduling Manager reports to the Training Operations Logistics Program Manager and is the first line supervisor for all contractor schedulers and registrars and a liaison with squadron supervisors with regard to the scheduling function. The Manager assigns schedulers to applicable work locations and ensures staff training vital to perform assigned duties including utilization of the F-35 Training Management System, coordinating with individual unit representatives and Instructional leads to enroll students, entering student data into the student data base, scheduling training resources including classroom and ATC Training Devices and military and contractor instructors.
Core tasks include processing, tracking, documenting, scheduling and generating routine reports. This Manager will also supervise the flow of the weekly schedules and development of training flows up to 70 days in advance of class start date. Additionally, the Manager will ensure he or she and the daily Schedulers/Registrars are proficient in the use of the F-35 Training Management System and local computerized scheduling programs in use and will provide training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives and collaborate with the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) to support Resource and Scheduling Working Groups and other enterprise scheduling coordination functions to facilitate annual programmed and emergent training requirements.
In addition to serving as the manager, the successful candidate will perform limited daily scheduling duties as part of the ATC scheduler team. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. Selected candidate must be willing to travel, to include CONUS/OCONUS F-35 training locations for short periods of time to meet operational needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Possess a current Final Secret clearance with last investigation within the last 6 years.
Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
Prior scheduling experience in a military pilot or maintenance training organization with working knowledge of Service specific training processes and guidance to include pertinent government Instructions, Manuals, and syllabi related to formal syllabus training
Previous leadership experience leading teams and mentoring in an environment which requires interaction with multiple functional areas and leading personnel of a diverse nature.
Experience evaluating personnel and conducting performance appraisals as well as demonstrated background of outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication abilities with a proven ability to organize, assign personnel, and work independently
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Access and Excel)
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of JSF Instructional System Design and previous experience using the JSF Training Management System and Learning Management System to include student training jacket management and transfer, creating ALIS IDs, and working with flexible training plans.
Experience with Service specific training headquarters processes and instructions to include pertinent government Instruction, Manuals and syllabi related to formal syllabus training.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 6 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
