This position is for the Manufacturing Test Engineering team on the Fort Worth F-35 Delivery Operations Flight Line.
Responsible for contributing to all MTE activities, operating on a team of highly capable engineers providing MTE support to all phases of Delivery Operations to include, but not limited to AFF Ops, ATF Ops, Weight & Balance, Fuel Operations, and all phases of Ground Ops, Flight Ops, and DD-250 Prep/Ferry Ops. This is a very dynamic environment, with ever-changing priorities depending on aircraft status, pilot availability and weather.
Supports Radio Room Ops during aircraft operations (IPP and Engine Runs), Company and Government Flight and participate in flight debriefs.
• Knowledgeable regarding functional testing of aircraft in a flight line environment.
• Project oriented with an emphasis on timely, affordable, and functional solutions.
• Able to evaluate requirements, develop procedures, and develop and field special test equipment as needed to support production tests.
• Hands-on aircraft testing experience and on-aircraft troubleshooting practices, as well as tool control and configuration control policies.
• Working knowledge of MTE practices and test equipment acquisition processes.
• Ability to author, review and edit System Checkout Procedures for accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working in an active Flight Line environment
• Working knowledge of F-35 Vehicle, Mission, and/or Propulsion Systems
• Working knowledge of aircraft tooling and/or assembly processes
Desired Skills:
• Experience within the F-35 Production environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform MTE duties independently and effectively
• Demonstrated ability to identify constraints and opportunities for internal and external customers, and ability to mitigate or capture each respectively
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with technical support teams, build teams, and internal and external customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
