- Provides Clients with wellness approaches based on the Client’s health culture, demographic, prevalent disease state in order to reduce the Client’s cost of their medical plans.
- Consults with mid-to-large-sized clients who want to develop or who have implemented worksite health risk management programs
- Creates long-term strategic plans to meet client objectives through analysis of client medical claims, claims utilization reports, and in-depth claims analysis database
- Develops standardized processes required for successful wellness plans and templates for varying degrees of wellness programs which can be customized based on Client needs, demographics, and budget
- Designs health promotion programs based on clinical data and information collected via surveys
- Reviews Clients' qualitative and quantitative indicators of current and potential health risks
- Develops focus groups and client surveys to identify common themes and suggestions for improvement
- Evaluates health promotion programs from multiple vendors including the health insurance providers, third party vendors, EAP and occupational health providers
- Facilitates changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of the Client
- Plans and directs business analysis, risk modeling, and loss prevention programs
- Maintains a wellness plan reporting system to establish a baseline and measure results that can be customized by Client
- Creates resource materials, case studies, articles and other supporting documentation to that support wellness efforts and demonstrate the need and outcomes of suggested programs
- Initiates policies to comply with safety legislation and industry practices
- Researches and reports on the most cost effective plans to minimize liability
- Maintains strong vendor relationships and knowledge of options and solutions available to Clients
- Assists leadership in developing tools needed for ongoing sales, service and implementation of health promotion programs
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in worksite promotion programs
- Experience in a broker and/or consulting environment is preferred
- Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
- Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States
