About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Design Drafter with an architectural background. Someone with strong AutoCAD and REVIT experience to work primarily in the production of construction drawings, with some opportunities for design and presentation work.
Responsibilities:
· Visit project sites to capture existing conditions and take all site measurements.
· Create existing plans in AutoCAD to include the shell, electrical (RCP), plumbing.
· Create furniture plans under the direction of the design team.
· Create bid sets, construction drawings, permit sets and 3D renderings for client presentations.
· Produce elevations - gallery walls, tile and floor layouts, strike offs, and paint blocking used for client presentations.
· Assist with the overall design process.
· Visit vendor showrooms for materials and generalized errands.
Qualifications:
· Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the schematic design process through construction drawings.
· Architectural engineering practices, building materials, and other construction background knowledge.
· Knowledge of or the ability to research California Engineering and Building Codes.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT and the integration and utilization of both are requirements.
· Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as REVIT and Sketchup.
· Knowledge of Matterport software would be considered a plus.

Our studio / art gallery is in San Francisco, CA, near the San Francisco Design Center, with a new office in Chicago, IL opening later this year.
