Tasks:
- Prepare and present internal financial statements using best practices and guidelines to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Handle daily cash management duties using the Wells Fargo CEO portal to optimize cash flow
- Maintain all Balance Sheet account reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded accurately
- Work with the VP of Finance and Founders to understand the operational aspects of the business so decisions can be made considering financial management perspectives; Oversee project management and implementation
- Oversee specific accounting spreadsheets and software applications and provide metrics such as labor efficiency to leadership to guide decision making
- Conduct financial analysis and assist with strategic planning to strengthen operations and achieve company goals; keep up to date with changing business objectives and processes that may impact financial systems
- Provide data, as needed, to support CPA firm responsible for preparing state and federal tax returns and annual financial statement audit
- Manage monthly sales and excise tax filings to ensure Logical Position complies with local and state requirements
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard Logical Positions assets
- Collaborate with coworkers and senior leadership to ensure financial processes and procedures are implemented and followed correctly
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
- Exemplary history of financial project management
- Proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, must be adaptable, reliable and readily available to fulfill multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Pay: $120,000 DOE
