What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier Driver position at Logisitics Service Partners?
- Be your own boss! We are looking for short and long-haul drivers with valid driver's licenses to work independently as courier drivers. Your job will be to safely recover packages from our client locations and drive them to a scheduled destination, over intercity routes, in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Transport shipment in a time-effective manner.
- Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.
- Keep proper logs at pickup from delivery locations and drop-off, following all company, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain reliable transportation.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Adhere to assignment guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as brand advocate.
Requirements:
- Possesses a valid drivers license.
- Must have valid car insurance.
- 1 year experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to travel with regularity and potentially drive within your local area.
- Professional appearance, clean clothing, proper attire.
- No DUI.
