Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Graph Analyst teleworking with routine (once/week) in-person work at our headquarters office in Tysons, VA or client site in Arlington, VA. The analyst is responsible for evaluating functionality, performance, and correctness of graph-based database solutions found within the stack. In this context correctness is evaluating the mapping of SQL like data to an RDF type database and the interpretations of the mapping of SQL like data to the project wide ontology.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Learn and understand program specific ontology developed by subcontractor
- Verify mappings by interacting with SQL and Graph based databases
- Benchmarking databases
- Verifying associated model calls
- Exercising APIs
- Performing graph traversals
- Demonstrate the ability to frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions.
- Possess the ability to work with and manipulate common data formats, including comma-delimited, text files, and JSON.
- Analyst must be able to transform data and analysis into informative data visualizations and/or interactive dashboards using open source and commercially available visualization and dashboard tools.
- Demonstrate the ability to derive insights and analytic narratives from data and visualizations for effective storytelling and clear communication in response to specific research questions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, solutions oriented environment focused on client deliverables, analysis and reporting.
- Possess the ability to work in teams and independently.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or other related business or quantitative discipline is required.
- 2 years of experience, performing related responsibilities and duties
- Knowledge of at least one SQL (or SQL-like) flavor (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of at least one non-relational database (Neo4j, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience cleaning and manipulating large and complex data sets of various formats
- Knowledge of Python required
- Knowledge of how to develop and interact with APIs
- Experience with web applications, and software development pipelines and workflows (GitLab CI/CD, Jira, etc.). Kubernetes experience preferred
- This position requires eligibility for an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Previous DOD experience.
