The Job Details
The Content Marketer is a critical role in executing the content strategy that supports Logiwa’s demand generation, awareness, thought leadership and product campaigns. This role produces engaging written pieces for digital and print media in multiple formats, including blogs, white papers, ebooks, case studies, and product data sheets, and social posts designed to educate, entertain or promote Logiwa. The successful candidate will be able to master different writing styles and tones of voice, depending upon the intended audience, ultimately attracting potential customers with content of interest.
What You’ll Do
- Create content in a wide array of content formats, including articles, blogs, ebooks, white papers, case studies, product data sheets, web page and landing page copy, email copy, social media posts, and video scripts.
- Understand SEO keyword research and write content optimized for SEO and human readability. Stay abreast of developments in online writing SEM trends.
- Work with Senior Marketing Communications Manager to develop content calendar and messaging strategy.
- Research and fact-check data on assigned topics. Research may include conducting interviews with internal subject matter experts, partners or customers.
- Develop well structured content pieces that support Logiwa’s positioning strategy and point-of-view.
- Convert sometimes complex technical information into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to a specific audience.
- Proofread and edit one’s own or other’s content.
- Gather and incorporate feedback, being open to suggestions, edits and editorial input.
- Balance and pace projects to complete them in accordance with the stated deadline.
- Maintain awareness of industry news and develop a working understanding of fulfillment operations to become a subject matter expert for Logiwa.
You Have:
- 4 years in a content marketing or writing role in a B2B tech and/or SaaS company.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience working with style guides, such as Chicago Style or AP Style.
- Strong curiosity and desire to ask probing questions to understand and clarify the topic at hand.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, while remaining highly detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to break down complex concepts.
- Excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation and grammar.
- Good observation skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient with Google Workspaces suite of applications, particularly Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of marketing professionals.
- Comfortable working with executives or other functional teams that are subject matter experts, such as product management, sales or R&D.
- Creativity and willingness to go against the grain and challenge conventions.
- Previous experience with the fulfillment industry is a plus.
- BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar field.
