We are seeking a Manufacturing Plant Trainer to join our team in Inwood, WV. The primary focus of this role is to train new hires on how to operate plant equipment safely and efficiently. The Trainer will also be responsible for documenting training sessions and monitoring the development of new hires.
Key Tasks & Activities...
- Conduct hands-on training for new hires on operating plastic bottle manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all new hires understand and comply with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor and assess the progress of new hires during the training period.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, and trainee performance.
- Provide feedback and support to new hires to help them improve their skills.
- Collaborate with the Training Lead and other departments to identify training needs and improve training programs.
- Other duties as management sees fit.
Who we are looking for...
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of equipment operation.
- Previous experience in a training or mentoring role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
