Position: Property Administrator
Comp: $25-29/hour
Location: San Mateo, CA

Job Summary: As a Property Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting our property management team in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio of properties. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-oriented approach will be essential in ensuring smooth property operations and fostering positive tenant experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle tenant inquiries and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, contractors, and vendors.
  • Assist with lease administration, including lease renewals, rent collections, and lease documentation.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with tenants and contractors.
  • Conduct property inspections to assess and maintain the condition of properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, transactions, and communications.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Support the marketing efforts by preparing listings, advertisements, and social media updates for properties.
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, expense reports, and budget forecasts.
  • Assist with tenant onboarding and move-in/move-out processes.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and general office duties.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in property management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in property management, real estate, or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, clients, and team members.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
