Overview:
London Jewelers is a premier jewelry business, family-owned and operated for over 90 years. We continue to set the standard for quality and service by providing customers with the finest selection of diamonds, designer jewelry, fine timepieces and gifts, and in a luxurious style and setting with superior customer service. We are seeking a watch polisher.
Responsibilities:
- Perform polishing-related activities including sanding, satin finish, cleaning, etc. following predefined instructions.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the polishing workshop (incl. ordering/managing consumables)
- Inspect all assigned orders for additional defects and note, repair, or escalate as appropriate
- Request any needed parts, consumable material, tools or supplies according to established procedures
- Comply with all health and safety requirements including personal protective equipment, hazardous material handling and disposal, machine guarding, ergonomics, etc.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Skilled in polishing watches and/or jewelry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in jewelry repair
- Ability to operate computer-operated technical equipment
