Position Summary

The Service Billing Specialist prepares and generates customer invoices for multiple revenue streams. This includes tax verification, charging credit cards, printing and mailing invoices, and additional accounting projects as assigned. 

Pay Range: $19.23 – $26.44 per hr.

Responsibilities

• Process bookings through the Microsoft Access tracking system and Microsoft Dynamics accounting system
• Produces customer invoices based upon costs received against specific projects on a daily basis and for warehouse sales on a weekly basis
• Ensures invoices are accurate before mailing to customers, both external and internal
• Serve as point of contact regarding all billing questions
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all organizational levels and customers
• Assists in the development of policies, systems, procedures, etc.
• Audits and analyzes remaining to bill and over/under billed amounts on a monthly basis
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business (or in pursuit of) or 2 years accounting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software a plus

• Exhibits a strong work ethic and has a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently on assignments as well as focus on a team approach
• Ability to analytically review data and apply problem solving skills
