What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative (Insurance) position at HomeServices Insurance?
The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for maintaining and retaining clients per the agency guidelines. The CSR is also part of a team in regard to the facilitation of new clients. This includes support to the Insurance Managers. The CSR is also responsible for ensuring a seamless transition between the new product purchase and further servicing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross sell/Upsell accounts by providing a complete protection review. A “package for protection” approach should be used.
- Conduct Proactive annual policy reviews. Inform clients of policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and insurance coverage needs. Use every service contact as opportunity to review and remarket appropriately.
- Inbound and outbound calls, emails, and correspondence to respond to endorsement/change requests, billing questions, policy reviews, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
- Industry knowledge of product coverage contracts, and underwriting guidelines
- Must have Property and Casualty License in State of Virginia
- Must have other non-residence licenses as needed
