Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a qualified Risk Management Support Specialist to provide risk management support at Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract. The role includes maintaining the Risk Management Database within DevonWayand providing risk management support to project managers and program managers. Additional tasks include assisting in developing the Enterprise Risk Program, attending and participating in risk management meetings, risk register updates and providing a monthly write-up on risk support to progress reporting to DOE. This position will support the EVMS Risk Management Training and DevonWay Risk Module user training. Roles include developing risk reports as requested and maintaining the Risk Management Plan to reflect the risk management process. An ideal candidate will be flexible, analytical and process driven.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. 1-5 yrs. experience in Risk Management
  3. Experience working on a DOE site is preferred but not required.
  4. Experience in executing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis
  5. Experience with Earned Value Management reporting

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  2. Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate DOE security clearance.
  3. Database Administration
  4. Mentorship or training experience preferred
  5. General knowledge of DOE facilities
  6. DevonWay Database
  7. Advanced writing skills
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  9. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  10. Ability to use independent judgement for determining course of action
  11. Strong analytical skills

 

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting. 

Physical Demands

May involve standing and walking for brief periods.  May involve minimal or infrequent lifting or carrying.
