Job Overview:
We are a busy Design Build Company located in Falmouth, MA looking to hire an experienced Architectural Designer to help us keep growing. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multi-tasking with considerable detail orientation. The candidate would perform all phases of design work including planning and design with the client. You will be involved in new building designs, additions, and renovations from the beginning stages right through to completion.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with clients to design a high-quality, innovative and functional design for their project.
Produce detailed plans and make any necessary adjustments or corrections.
Keep within budgets and timelines.
Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the accuracy of early design work.
Research and incorporate artistic elements into designs as needed.
Work with the client on the selection of materials and finishes.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of and experience with design software (2020, Revit,
AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop).
Significantly detail-oriented with the ability to spot and fix potential design flaws.
Strong communication skills and possess notable problem-solving skills.
